Ticketing and Matchday Information For The Return To St Mary's
Friday, 18th Dec 2020 10:46

Saints fans return to St Mary's for the second time for the visit of Manchester City, we bring you the info for those going as well as all the latest updates on who is and isn't eligible to attend after the latest changes in the Government's tier structure.

As a service to all Saints supporters we reprint the latest information from the club, if you are unsure about any of it, or if you are unsure of the steps to take if you have been lucky in the ballot, please contact the club directly.

Fans are back at St Mary’s again for Saturday’s Premier League visit of Manchester City, with the club selecting eligible Season Ticket holders to attend the game.

Following consultation with fan groups, the club held a ballot to decide which supporters will attend Saturday’s match and have communicated directly with those fans that were successful.

( TUI Note: There are two loyalty tiers for each game where fans in that group will get priority, approximately 70 fans will be entitled to go to every game and a further 200 will be spit between every other game. After taking into account corporate sponsor's, this will leave approximately 1,400 tickets for an open ballot)

Season Ticket holders that have not yet been selected to attend a behind closed doors match at St Mary’s will be eligible for the ballot for Southampton’s next home game against West Ham United on Tuesday 29th December.

(TUI Note: For clarification, If you are not in one of the loyalty tier groups, when you have been selected in the ballot you will not be in a further ballot until every other season ticket holder has attended a game)

They shall receive a pro rata refund for Saturday’s clash with Manchester City, along with Season Ticket holders that confirmed to the club that they do not wish to be considered for selection.

See below for more information to find out whether you were successful in the ballot, how you can access your ticket, and changes you can expect to the matchday experience at St Mary’s.

Please note that fans who live in areas that have been placed in tier 3 of the government’s local restriction tier system will not be able to attend the match and will be due a pro rata refund.

Have I been successful in the ticket ballot?

Those Season Ticket holders that were selected to attend the match against Manchester City have been contacted at the email address listed on their ticketing account. If you haven’t received an email, please make sure to check your spam folder or promotions folder in Gmail.

If fans have elected to be part of a social bubble, the lead booker will receive the tickets for the whole bubble on their ticketing account.

The club will be calling all fans that were successful in the ballot by phone later this week if they have not opened the email that was sent to them.

Please note that for those fans that have been placed in a priority group, based on being long-standing Season Ticket holders that have attended the majority of matches in recent seasons, if you elected to be in a social bubble with other supporters who are in the same priority group as you, you will be seated together for each match.

However, if you are in a social bubble with other eligible Season Ticket holders who do not fall within the same priority group as you, they will enter the ballot. When they are successful in the ballot you shall be grouped together to ensure you can enjoy the match as a group. When they are not successful, you will receive your ticket separately.

How do I download my ticket?

All fans attending Saturday’s match have been emailed an e-ticket that can either be downloaded to your mobile device or printed at home — these tickets must be presented on arrival at the stadium along with photo ID.

Fans can find information about where their seat is located and which entrance they need to arrive at on their e-ticket.

Due to restrictions on which parts of St Mary’s we are able to open, we cannot guarantee that Season Ticket holders will be in their chosen seats, but we will endeavour to assign seats that are at a similar height and proximity to exits where possible.
