Surprise, surprise. He was always going to stay on even if it's been confirmed more quickly than I'd have thought.

I wonder if the same thing will happen to Miliband?

But he said he'd resign and he did. How could he possibly know that in a party dominated by racists and loons there'd be nobody suitable to take over

He's nothing of the sort, he said he'd step down as leader.

He did exactly that. He has now been re-instated to make sure that the IN/OUT referendum is delivered. He won't be contesting the next general election.

Saying he would step down was just a meaningless token gesture. He knows very well that he's the best person for the job and must have suspected or known his resignation wouldn't be accepted.

They had to make him stay. UKIP is a cult of the Farage personality more than a genuine political movement. Once Farage is finished, so is UKIP.

He stood down as promised. The party refused his resignation so hes come back.
Simples.
Its all rigged anyway. He was smack on for winning his seat in South Thanet, but of course they cant have a nigel farage mouthing off in parliament.

End of.

My methods are not favoured by some but by god i speak the truth.

So "they" couldn't have Farage mouthing off in parliament but can have Galloway?

I suspect UKIP will tear itself into many parts fairly soon. For all the talk of cult of personality, which has some validity, it's also clear no-one else could provide some form of unity over that mob. The majority of sensible ones will rejoin the Tory flock for the referendum, the rest will go after Labour.

No evidence whatsoever anything happened in the Thanet South election. Claiming it was dodgy is akin to Galloway complaining he wuz robbed.

You can't 'refuse' somebody's resignation. You can request they rethink and if you're a weasel worm looking for a reason to retract what you thought was a vote winning threat that turned out to have no effect, you will grasp at it like a drowning man at a lifebelt. A slimy little cur with no self respect that should get none from anyone else.
