From the BBC gossip column...
"Former England captain Paul Ince says his son, Hull City midfielder Tom Ince, 23, has the talent to become the next Gareth Bale"

This is in spite of the fact that he has consistently shown he can't hack it in the premier. Fair play that's a fathers blind lov for you.

Maybe he means he's going to follow in his steps by getting booed by his own supporters? Can't think what else he means...

Lets put it this way JS- just to divert from the gerrard stuff, if you think he s been outstanding for REAL then sorry we re planets apart.
Owen was lethal in the Prem ,Macnanamananan was effective too but at Madrid they were nothing really nothing and its why they came home very early with their pension pot filled.

You get a medal if you re a team member ..no more no less..
OK?

He scored 22 in 44 games last season, including the winner in the Copa Del Rey and the 2nd in the Champions League final. He was widely acknowledged to be superb last season. He has been in a slump for a few months, but has still scored 17 goals this season. He also suffers in that the team is centred around Ronaldo.

Comparing him to Owen is insulting. McManaman actually did very well in Madrid and is still held in high regard by their fans. One of the more successful British exports.

Bale is only failing in relation to his transfer fee. The only players in the world who could live up to that kind of fee are Ronaldo and Messi. Doesn't make Bale a failure.
