OUT WITH A DEAL EATING OUR CAKE AND LOVING IT suck it up remoaners
And like a typical anti democracy remoaner he decided the will of the people should be ignored the minute the democratic result was in total fecking hypocrite 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Despite it being voted in to law by the commons the spineless two faced remoaner MPs have totally abandoned any morals and decided to ignore the will of the British people.
It will be remembered and no election or referendum will ever be the same again in this country.
The one thing that will come is a massive surge in the popularity of UKIP or a similar party in the future who stand for the 52%.
Happy Days.

Thank goodness for the veto.
You might wanna tell your mate Leon that. Seems as though he’d be happy to hand the Veto over to Guy. My guess is it’s gonna happen sooner or later anyway.

Problem with that is, the veto can’t be removed until it’s agreed that it can be removed. And while member states have a veto they could block any attempt to remove a veto by using their, um, veto. The use of a veto to block moves to remove the veto power in a specific policy area has happened plenty of times.
This could be the beginning of the end for countries having a "Veto"
The European Commission has proposed scrapping member states’ veto on tax policy, in a move that could see levies imposed on EU countries against their will.
Brussels says the requirement of unanimity for tax policy is out-dated and that moving to a system of qualified majority voting would help speed up the legislative process.
The bloc has struggled to agree ambitious policies such as a tax on US tech giants because of opposition from low-tax countries such as Luxembourg and Ireland.
The idea was immediately rejected the Irish government, with a spokesperson saying it “does not support any change being made to how tax issues are agreed at EU level”.
Launching the policy in Strasbourg on Tuesday, European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker said he was “strongly in favour of moving to qualified majority voting and a stronger voice for the European Parliament on the common future of taxation in our Union”.

DAVID Cameron refused to sign up to a revision of the Lisbon Treaty in 2011 because EU leaders would not agree to the British safeguards he demanded but, in response, German Chancellor Angela Merkel teamed up with French President Nicolas Sarkozy to set up a fiscal union in order to bypass Britain’s veto.

Farage has to take some stick for that result. The second the greens and plaid pulled out of the running they should have stepped aside. Would have been a clear run for the tories then.

Well done Brecon people ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡º.
Boris bounce is dead already.
Majority of just 1 now in Westmonster. And a Tory MP saying he might cross the floor.
GE coming up pawb.
Arf!
Lib Dems got their colleagues the Greens and Plaid to step aside, still couldn't pull a vote higher than Tories and Brexit party combined.
Lib Dems didn't want to split the Remain vote - I don't see Greens and Plaid doing the same in a general election because after all they'd end up with no members of parliament.
Nice to see Labour utterly fvcked.

People want the Tories out that much, they are prepared to stand aside and sacrifice their own political ambitions.
Makes you feel great to see people coming together for the good of the country.

Easy for Greens with 1 MP to do that. Will it have much effect across UK? Doubt it. Plaid also are limited in the candidates fielded.
So what's your predicted effect? Tories wiped in Wales? Eh, whatever.
Swinson visited the constituency 4 times. Lib Dems threw everything into that byelection, had their deal to not split the Remain vote - yet only won due to the Leave vote being split by Brexit party.
Difficult to say how it would go in a general election, but I can see Tories taking back votes from Brexit party after people see the consequences here.
What's clear is it was a humiliating night for Corbyn. His byelection record as leader is woedul.
Corbyn's by-election record: % +/-
2019 Brecon -12.4 Peterboro -17.2 Newport West -12.7

Hasn't some idiot on here been banging on about 'remain supporting parties and MPs in areas that voted leave being toast when it came to vote.?
That was in the presumption no backroom deals would be arranged.
Wait for the GE and then let's see.
EDIT:
Of course, I'm sure every constituency will have a candidate convicted of fraud who narrowly loses due to a party organising a democratic backroom deal to not split Remain vote where a similar deal between Leave parties would've won the by-election; by-elections where unpopular governments tend to have reduced vote shares anyway.

Remind us how it is that the Tories are in government and have a,majority, despite not having a,majority.

Well, of course, the Tories don't do backroom deals with ANY party. They perform their con trick up front, right in front of the cameras using our money to buy their majority.
But that's okay because it's the Tories doing it.

It’s not rocket science mucka. If Farage was serious about Brexit he would have put his vanity to one side and played that remain alliance, or what ever they call themselves, at their own game and the Tories would have clearly won the seat. It’s a whole farce at the moment. Libs have won the seat, they’ve been campaigning for 3 years for a people’s vote and yet over 50% of the votes were in favour of parties happy to pursue a no deal.

Supply and confidence deals are hardly the same as getting people not to stand.
Idiots claim DUP were paid a "bribe" which is libellous. Money went into NI infrastructure.

I don't have a great deal of time for politicians, most are only in it for their own ends and interests. In terms of Corbyn, don't have a great deal of time for him or his beliefs, but I do believe he has more integrity than most of his counterparts. I don't believe he is PM material, even if he was I reckon his chances of making it are slim because the national press are against him. If Labour want to win, they need a new leader who will appeal to a broader spectrum. Boris as PM is mental
