The Swans outside chances of reaching the play offs had a boost on Tuesday night with a comfortable 3-0 win over Brentford and now those chances continue as we prepare to welcome Middlesbrough to the same venue this weekend. 0

Is this an April fool article or just generating some interest to the floating fan who may think we still have something to play for?

Strictly speaking we do still have an outside chance and will do until mathematically impossible.

Realistically we would probably miss out even if we won all our remaining games

Just like Al Bundy and Taliesin, I don't see how. If we go on a record-breaking 9 wins in a row (including Brentford in the last match) we still end up on only 74 points. If the teams in the play-off zone start dropping points, they'll be giving them to the other teams who are still above us.

We're just too far down the table.
