Probably about time to start one of these. It's been well documented that around 14 players could be leaving in the summer, so who's gonna come in to fill the gap???

Some ITK on here are already talking about pre contracts for a Romanian and a Portuguese player. Any other whispers floating about?

1/3. Unused sub first game, 90 minutes second, not in the squad last Saturday.

Jack might not be getting game time but what he will realise, if he didn't know already, was how much of a dogfight it is at lower league clubs where more senior professionals with a family and a mortgage are battling for one year extensions to their contract unlike the cossetted world of relatively low contact academy football.
In the vast majority of cases any lower league club in a relegation scrap let alone fighting to stay in the EFL will always go for experience.

<< “The scenario on the bench is that I know with an injury, I could put Conor right wing-back and Luke [O’Nien] left wing-back, or if we're chasing a game we can put Goochy there. >>

Well what was the point in loaning him then? Complete waste of space.

Given what he's been through I don't think Jack Evans needs teaching how to battle.

If he really will cost us only 700k, I hope Kalulu is our first signing. Low cost, low risk, & high potential.

We desperately need permanent signings.

I think he'll be expecting a bigger pay day ... wether he deserve it or not.
First he has to stay fit and healthy enough to be picked.

No question about that, but getting out on loan and embracing a new experience of what life is like outside the structure of an ex-PL club and academy football will benefit him far more. After all, he is unlikely to get in the first team squad unless there are further injuries

Unless there are injuries Declan doesn't figure in Cooper's plans so the loan move benefits both clubs.

If Grimes were to pick up an injury (or just need a rest) I'm not sure who else we have who can do that job at the base of the midfield. Fulton's proven he's not up to it, and I don't like the look of Wilmot as an option.

Not sure how it benefits them when he has mentioned two players there who he prefers to Declan.

Parkinson is an experienced manager and perhaps he is bringing in a player who he will have first dibs on come the summer with a view to next season

Fulton in fairness to him has proven his worth. Decent player.

Further forward he can do a job at this level. But an anchor he ain't.

He's a better option than Byers in any midfield role.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Potter didn't think so, and Cooper doesn't either. An area where I agree with them both.

Lol. He's 'asking questions about the other midfielders' jerseys', yet he has played 0 minutes of game time. Basically the manager is trying to reassure Swansea.

My name is Matt
