Anybody else miss the Evening Post website
at 15:35 23 Jul 2019
I know it wasn't the best, but it was some coverage online unlike what we have know. With it being incorporated into the Wales Online website it seems in terms of the Swans we don't get any coverage on transfer speculation and the like. While WO are working themselves into a fever over Cardiff despite only three uninspiring signings being made and some key players leaving, the coverage we get is wholeheartedly negative and uninformed really. It's written by journalists sitting infront of computers in Cardiff re-hashing twitter gossip without a real feel for the club or its supporters, or any inside knowledge regarding comings and goings. The jurnos they have covering the Swans aren't from the area, hardly ever come to the area, how on earth are they supposed to build up contacts when they only rarely see people from here.
I know I could still buy the paper, but nowadays we're used to updates on our phones and stuff, so there's nothing to fill the gap left by 5he EP website, which I miss despite it's obvious failings.
The Man United template Cardiff City must mirror

I knew Nathan Blake has long since lost the plot, but at last we have confirmation of this in this bonkers opinion piece. What planet is he on? On the one hand Wales Online is having a proper hard-on that Warnock is going to take them up at the first effort, on the other they want them to play like Man United. Are there any similarities at all between Warnock's style of play and Solskjaer? Basically, I'm just pissed off with the way "Wales" Online are having a boner over Cardiff while taking every opportunity to knock the Swans.

Spare a thought for this guy. He's spent a year doing research into jack shite. The head of recruitment that didn't recruit - if I remember correctly all last year's arrivals were already here before he arrived (I of course adopt the loosest possible use of the word all). What an absolute waste of a year, and I doubt the kind of targets he was after here will be of any use for Brighton, well at least not until this time next year after their relegation.

The job he's done at Leeds is nothing short of amazing. He's transformed the performances and playing style of Leeds with no big signings. Surely he would be a safer pair of hands for Brighton to turn to than Potter in their quest for champagne, passing football.

Hey, I've just found out Cardiff will be playing in a higher division than us for the first time in a decade. Why did no one tell us about this? Why have the "Welsh" media not got hold of this story? People need to know about this! You'd have thought they'd be banging on about this at every opportunity..... Hang on a fur-king minute!

If we are going to sign this Ghoddos chap and the other bloke, it seems that Divbert Jenkins hasn't learnt his lesson from the Allen debacle and like he banked Wales would have a shite Euros, is banking Ghoddos will make no impact in Russia. A good tournament = price hike big nose - get it into your head!!!

Remember the criticism the back to jack boys took after those back to back wins against Liverpool and Arsenal. Do you reckon they had a point after all? Asking for a friend like

Fear not, Jorge Mendes will see us home!
at 23:15 24 Jan 2018
Nearly spat my tea over the screen when I read this little gem on Wales Online:
"And now [Mendes] is working with Swansea and countryman Carlos Carvalhal in a bid to save the club from relegation."
Like the guy's doing it out of the kindness of his heart to help his old chum out. I'll tell you one thing, if Tutumlu got Huw over a barrel, Huw won't know what decade it is by the time Mendes has taken him to the cleaners!

Personally there are a few other wingers I'd like to see the back of first!
