| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

If you had total income of £20,000 and lost £8,000 of it and someone else had total income of £125,000 and lost £10,000 of it, which of you would notice the loss more? They’ve lost £2,000 more than you have, but surely you realise the loss hits you far harder? |
And can you see that though our exports to the EU will fall there will still be trade and we won't lose all 40% of those exports plus, our exports to other places are rising? It's a global economy.

We won’t lose all our exports, but there is a risk that we will lose a fair chunk as our products become more expensive to overseas buyers. Our exports to other parts of the world are rising, but we will increasingly be competing head on with the Chinese and other low wage economies.Europe is a very affluent market.

Yes I accept that. That's the way the world is. As long as capitalism is the norm that's the way it will always be. We have left the EU, in 20 days we will have finished transition. Whether you are a leaver or a remainer that is true. Basically now people can carry on moaning or get on with it and try to make it a success. There will undoubtedly be hard yeard ahead, the pandemic has guaranteed that for much of the world. Who knows where the world will be in 10 years time, the only certainty is we just have to get on with life, what choice do we have?

| What an absolute joke of a party on 09:16 - Dec 11 by felixstowe_jack | The EU have had three years to agree a trade deal with a sovereign country but would rather punish a former partner than agree a trade deal with a country that has been a net contributor for over 50 years. It shows the EU for what it is just like a scorned wife who wants all the money and the children. We are better of without them. |
EU countries don't have to do anything, we are the ones leaving

What, EU countries don't have to get on with it either? What a strange statement. Any EU based business that wants to carry on exporting to the Uk has to get on with it and deal with the situation.

Never mind the EU will punish a democratic UK but will also punish a lot of people in the manufacturing and agriculture industries in the EU. There will be more job losses in the EU than the UK.
