Think we missed a trick with this player 18:49 - Jan 21 with 652 views | KeithHaynes | Stephen Kingsley has signed a new deal at Hearts as the former Hull and Swansea City man extends his Gorgie stay to 2022. Robbie Neilson brought the left-back to Tynecastle in the summer as he made his return to Scottish football following a fruitful stint down south with clubs like Hull City and Swansea Cit He has impressed since arriving at the Championship club, scoring a double on his debut against Dundee and notching in the Scottish Cup final in December. Overall, he has made 14 appearances with four goals. Having previously signed a one-year deal, Kinglsey has now extended his stay to the end of next season, manager Robbie Neilson expressing his delight at him doing so: “I’m delighted that we’ve got this one over the line. “Stephen is a top quality player and has made a real impact since joining the squad. I know he’s popular with the fans and it’s great that they will get to see him pull on the maroon jersey for another 18 months and, of course, it’s a real boost for us to retain the services of a top, top player.”

| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Fulton, Kingsley and King. All did OK . King did not quite make it and joined Dundee Utd went on loan to a lower league club and does not appeared to have played this season, He was a regualr feature in the very sucessful u23 team. Kingsley got premeir league games under Guidoolin and swansea got a million or two for him in the sale to Hull. Fulton has gradually improved year by year and now a regular performer. All in all not a bad link to Scotland. There were one or two others that did not crack on Blair and Biabi.

Dont try to rewrite history. All the Scots have done is block the locals. Scotland have not produced a proper player since Souness, but we discover 7 or 8 who are Premiership quality. We are clever like that. Kingsley was part of the Clucas deal. They would not have paid a million or two for him, get real. He played just 17 games for Swans. Hull City then released him on a free in 2019. Ben Davies he is not. Only Fulton has been a first team regular for us. And is he better than Sheehan who was already at Swans - and a similar age i would think..? I think its been a demonstrable failure for our club. Not what the club who produced Ben, Allen and Jazz should be doing.
