I’ve been reading this morning about people complaining to Morrison they have felt “intimidated” by the sight of a Union Flag on a sack of King Edward’s! Good grief! |
Well King Edward buggered off to France the first chance he got with his Yankee harlot.

The spuds were named after his grandfather, not him.

I’m not sure any king would be happy with that. “Here’s an earthy brown bumpy round thing covered in mud. What shall we call it? Well you know what it looks a bit like? The king.” It’s almost as if they wanted to get executed.

| Is this necessary? on 20:01 - Nov 3 by Kilkennyjack | It is helpful. The dragon flag is excellent for allowing us to support our local produce. The sinister bit though is suddenly using the union flag for all things like welsh cheese and scotlands whisky. The Builth Wells food hall looked like a UKIP wet dream a couple of years back. Hence the initiative not to purchase, if its got a jack then put it back. I am not there …. Yet …. ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ [Post edited 3 Nov 2021 22:32]

I’m racking my brains to think of any Scottish whiskey that doesn’t explicitly state that it is from Scotland. I mean all of them will be called “scotch whiskey” and will say which distillery they are from. And Caerphilly cheese is again quite self explanatory.

The starting premise was ‘flags are useful’. No need to thank me. [Post edited 3 Nov 2021 21:27]
