It's taken long enough.
The way we play a forward has to have a bit more about him than Cullen does. Piroe can drop deep and run with the ball. As can both Whittaker and Obefemi. Cullen's not much use to anyone outside the box.
That's been the case since the start of the season. Cullen's aggregate game time in comparison to Whittaker in that context is baffling. |  |

The poor touch can be worked on, with more game time his play may improve. he has to earn the starts though and he hasn't been doing that. If he comes on at any time, he has to take his chances and prove himself.
Given how these things go with us, if Obafemi turned out to be the only dud we signed so far this season, that'd be quite good! Still waiting on Walsh though so who knows.
Piroe has shown to be a brilliant signing, I have no doubt if he carries on this way we will struggle to hold onto him. | |

The "poor touch" thing is nonsense IMO.
Nothing wrong with his touch in controlling a long pass to score at Birmingham, or play the little 1-2 to create an opening against Peterborough. It's just that some people seem to feel the need to invent something to criticise a player for.

Could not agree more.
One of the worst decisions in my life of watching us was at Preston when Russ selected Cullen as a de facto midfielder. It was cringing. I feel for Cullen as he seems a decent lad but really -he aint a Championship player and possibly not League 1 standard either. | |

Obafemi needs to understand this is Swansea City, not Michaels team. If he does that he will shine I’m certain. | |
