I can confirm that the first time Cooper came across Piroe was during his England days when Piroe ( and this is from memory ) bagged a hatrick in an under 17 tournament. We reported this a year or so ago and again in May / June. Obviously Allen’s job was to be involved, and he was, and Scott etc. But our info is Cooper was the instigator and the rest followed. |  |

I can also corroborate that Piroe was eagerly pursed by Cooper at that time, and didn't let go in his endeavours to get him signed up. Piroe was so made up when he eventually landed. Fact. He signed to work with Cooper.

Furthermore Piroe was devastated when Cooper left, which was further exacerbated when Martin unceremoniously stripped him of the #9 jersey and his place in the 1st team. All because Martin didn't rate Piroe's intelligence to understand his system. FFS, arrogance, off the scale.
