No manager at this level is a fraud.
It was not correct when people said it about Cooper and its not correct now people are saying it about Martin.
He is here because he has managerial ability, if that ability is good enough to adapt from what his initial ideas were is yet to be seen.
Good managers are not stubborn and they evolve to what does and doesn't work and don't let ego get in the way.
I am hoping Martin sees sense or someone gives him a stern talking to, but confidence in that happening is diminishing bit by bit every time we set up in this way where nothing appears to be learned. |  |

Nothing is complicated by statisticians, statistics is simply the written facts of what happened in the game, because people don’t tend to keep all the information in their head in live time.
People often find statistics complicated, but that is a different thing to statisticians making it complicated. They just simply present the facts of what happened.
But yes, football is relatively simple. You have to attack the other team and try and not let them attack you - sadly we don’t do either very well. | |
