I am counting all gun deaths that includes murder, accidents and suicides. My figures are "gun deaths" not murders.
Suicides, they'd probably happen without guns, people would find the way. Murders, they might not happen. it's a difficult call. Accidents happen, there was a bloke last year who managed to cut his own arm off with a chainsaw.
it's still lunacy to me though, to allow so many untrained people to carry guns, 9mm pistols and AR15 rifles, its totally bonkers.

For what it is worth,many Police officers do and are leave well before the full pensionable age.The pension has been attacked for many years and is nothing like the Civil Service which is a safer vocation. Not often do you get attacked with a machete as you while away at your keyboard nor even get a hearful of hate from those you avoid in the street.
I'll leave it there ,as it's Christmas and dont want to carry on this dialogue of hate.
