It's clear he is lying. He may have been involved but he categorically did not invent them.
All our previous conversations have proved is that he had a minor involvement, unequivocally. He's missed out on fame and fortune and is bitter.

He invented "vaccine technology platform." without which the others could not have developed their vaccines.
He told it as it was he was a member of a one of the groups working on gene technology.
