Offside Flagging. 20:29 - Mar 10 with 1819 viewsSTID2017

I understand the rule that the officials are waiting to see if the attacking side have gained an advantage before signalling, but it is frustrating for players and fans alike.
If it is adjudged to be offside I would prefer it was just given.
The time saved from not giving it when no advantage gained by the attacking side seems to be balanced out by the time wasted when play has to be called back surely ?

Which was my original point.
Wastes more time and is frustrating.

But it doesn’t waste time if you are smart enough to stay out of the play if you are offside. It allows a chance for the game to flow.

I understand you don’t like it, but it’s not changing back any time soon. Thankfully.
