Success for me so far is staying in the division this year, in the time I have left. probably promotion back to the Prem if that's possible, As a club moving to the Liberty we had a great start to move the club on, in moving on we lose something Hopefully us not getting relegated in my lifetime, and perhaps having a go at that comp that so far has eluded us the FA Cuuuuup! so I can shove 1927 where the sun don't shine. |
seen the Swans in the top tier as a youngster and in middle age, so hoping the odds mean I'll have one more look at them if I get to a decent old age. sadly it might as likely mean I'll see them also have a stint in League 1, hopefully no lower. Season by season a competitive championship club would be a nice average for the years I have left .. look, you've dragged me into the whole mortality lark now ;)

If they don’t the least I expect from the manager is a bloody good answer not the bilge this guy spouts But….if you are happy to float along with not to high an expectancy then good luck and enjoy. |
This is what I find hard to take. We have no long term plan.We cant have given these owners. Our coach has to make do and mend. We cannot play dream football as he suggests. We were told he suffered from lack of a close season training, fitness issues, covid, congested fixtures-the lot. Nowt has changed. I detest Luton Town but it shows what application, organisation and graft can give you. They have a derisory budget too. [Post edited 9 May 2022 20:30]

They’ve been here for what six years ? They’ve brought in a manager with a long term plan. Silverstein explained the plan last Friday, like it or not that’s the plan.

I truly hope so Keith, I do wonder though how long they will put up with his stubbornness, on saying that they should meet him halfway by backing him in getting the players he wants. We will see come July and I do hope they do back him as if they don't the usual suspects will be out with their knives.
