Swansea City set for £27,000 a day windfall during the World Cup 12th Oct 2022 13:17
Swansea City could receive £9,000 a day from FIFA via their global fund in an agreement that clubs with players participating in the competition will be rewarded financially for their absence. Each player involved could earn their club £9,000 for every twenty four hours they are at the World Cup. 0

Is it a windfall or are the International Associations finally coughing up for using the club's players instead of freeloading?

Assume we're still going to be paying the wages whilst they're off in Qatar so we probably won't end up that much better off if at all.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I doubt that any of the three are on 10k a day. But yes obviously the payments are based on the average salary for a ‘top’ player at international level which is around 70k a week which is what the swans will receive for each player at the World Cup. Plus some form of split with Celtic and Stoke I believe.

Nothing to do with the FAW as this is claimed directly to FIFA by the clubs via a portal they have special access to.

Whatever profit is made and there will be it isn’t to be sniffed at.

For every ten days at the World Cup a player can earn their clubs between 90-100k each.
The swans could have three, that’s decent.

You maths have always been suspect.

Allen is on about £10k a week. (£1,400 a day) Excess £7.600 a day £228,000 a month

Ntcham is on about £10k a week. (£1,400 a day) Excess £7.600 a day £228,000 a month

Cabango say £7k a week (£1,000 a day) Excess £8,000 a day £240,000 a month,

Cool. Only another hundred odd years of rent left owing.
