That roar of Neath Neath Neath from the shed behind the posts.

Always in the main stand, just on the halfway line, back row, from when I was about 5 till 18 when I went to Uni, and as much as I could then.

I had relatives who never missed a Neath game.
Then when Jeremy Pugh from Builth played, he had 50 beer vouchers every home game(plus his boot money), so I had to help him out.
I lived a few doors away from Steve Powell, the Neath full back, centre, winger, who was happy to drive, stay til midnight after an evening game, and still do his milk round at 4am.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Stevie Powell, club legend, could play anywhere in the backs.

We never did, parents knew, they could stop my pocket money, never bothered me, but the ultimate sanction was stopping me watching Neath. I remember when I was about 8, teacher told my mum I’d been messing around on a schools trip, wasn’t allowed to watch us play Pontypool away on a Wednesday night. Still remember that.
