I doubt it, men would just accept it

In my company now they have two female apprentice plasterers, at a team training session recently they were both asked how come and both were very clear, they both had been waiting for the opportunity to do something different, something outside the normal gender defined roles and they both said they were really enjoying the jobs. Freedom of choice means accepting that women can do any job they choose, or you could subscribe to Jordan Peterson's view of the world. |
Where do you think I’ve said most women aren’t choosing what they want? I’m saying they are. There are no barriers as claimed. You are agreeing with me. But I can guarantee you most plasterers are men, and will continue to be probably forever - that’s due to biology not just physicality.

But that’s unlikely because 80% of artists are male. Men and women make their free choices in music purchases and decide that they prefer male voices. Again, if you want to protect women in the industry and ensure they remain celebrated then separating the genders makes perfect sense. This obsession to just pander to this new age political culture is only destroying a lot of what women have strived for over the years. Ironically it’s the people who shout the loudest for women’s rights that seem to be supporting it, that’s because they blindly go with whatever sounds most virtuous at the time without understanding the consequences and impacts of it. You are either for women’s rights in these instances or you are for de-gendering things - you can’t be both, they are in direct conflict in most areas (even non physical).
