They have been the owners since 2016.
In that almost 7 years, they have had responsibility for all aspects of running the club.
That obviously includes appointment of non playing staff and sacking the same, sales and signing of players, and importantly rubber stamping of contracts for all those employed since their tenure began.
So the contracts we were lumbered with since then are solely their responsibility and any loss made is down to their mismanagement.
If the club was run sustainably then we would have no debt.
The sacking of Guidolin, appointment of Bradley, signing of players such as Bony MkII, Clucas, Baston, Ayew (on his return from WHU ) as well as a host of other poor permanent and loan signings were all ultimately their responsibility.
The way that they handled the sale of Gylfi and Llorente, leaving us in a position of panic buying late in the window was inexcusable.
In January they had a decision to make over Russell Martin - back him or sack him.
They have done neither.
Even before today it is clear they have no faith in Martin.
The owners are responsible for us being relegated, and subsequently getting into a position where the extra £16 million was needed.
Not sure how you can say
A) The owners are not ultimately culpable
B) The owners appointed Martin, yet are not ultimately to blame for that decision
C) Martin has not yet failed for us but is failing( when in endless posts you have said just the opposite)

Incorrect.

They bought the club with salaries outstripping income. It took them 3 seasons to correct that mess that Jenkins and Co left, it takes that amount of time because you can’t just release players. Their contracts must expire or be sold.

One minute you are blaming them for not backing the manager, then you are blaming them for backing them.

Make your mind up.

Ah, so everything is Martins fault. Despite the fact that in the last window the owners scuppered deals that had been worked on for ages (which is what they had said) and we ended up with a weaker squad, that is martin's fault too.

Do you wear and eye patch? Or is it blinkers?

That imaginarium is an odd place, goodnight.

I’m pro common sense.

I won’t blame anyone for things they have little to no blame in, that goes for the manager too.

“Everything”?

Where are you getting this from?

You give me some things and I will tell you if it’s the managers fault or not.

Unfortunately you are becoming the victim of the blame game and your desperation to blame the ownership is confusing yourself, you don’t even know what you are blaming them for.

As I said, list some of your gripes and I’ll tell you if it’s their fault.

“Not backing the manager” and “backing the manager” have both been laid at their door tonight, which one is it?

Also, what deals did they scupper? This is a new one on me.
