If you saw the Levien and Silverstein video recently you will have noticed how chilled Levien was and how tense Silverstein was?

Sadly for every one Gibbs White was a cocked Englishman who only played 4 games. Swansea got him fit and he got pulled by Wolves. Bad luck.
The US guys backed Huw Jenkins and Ledbetter his recruitment guru who were excellent in the £1-£5 market but poor i for big ticket players. Levien who I regard as a cool dude did not whinge and has just brushed himself down and got back to work looking for new investment. Fans saying "Yanks out" are worse than clueless. I said that they were utterly incompetent.
They have never done much to suggest otherwise. Your claims about Dan James an the supposed extra £8m still falls well short of the final value for him less than 6 months later.
Yes, people yelling "get them out" are clueless.
You can't just give up a business that you own without either a buyer or folding it.
You can however employ people who understand that industry and market place to run it for you successfully.
Where was the forward planning around recruitment in the final years in the premiership?
Why did we suffer the debacle of Bob Bradley?
They've made a profit from a team that can't get relegated in the MSL, is not quite the compelling argument you think it is.
I don't expect them to walk away empty handed. I expect them to bring in people who know what they are doing. | | | |
