Just opened my polling card for upcoming the upcoming local election, the first with voter ID required.

Lots of options for older people (aside from the norm) but not for younger voters. Anyone would think it’s being manipulated…

At no point in this thread has anyone shown evidence of significant voter fraud due to ID issues. (Although you did find an ID requirement for something other than an election and an example of postage fraud from nearly 2 decades ago)

Is it easier under these regs for a young person or and old person to vote? Why are these regs needed?


Look this is clearly upsetting you and I don't like to see you this way.

As explained on a number of occasions now its a simple easy process and I'll talk you through it at any subsequent elections that may involve such a process.

I'm concerned that this is causing you so much distress and really would like to help.
