Some of the u21s that have had game time pre season are now training full time with the first team squad. If the coaching staff feel that they are not currently physically or mentally developed enough to play in the Championship we have to trust their judgement. After all they are watching them day in day out against seasoned Championship players. Its a big jump up from u21, some do it because they are ready others don't, patience is needed. |
Nearly every level of football is a leap ,throughout the pyramid system some players can adapt and shine ,some can't looking at some of our Academy players over the past few weeks I'd have to say as a layman of course ,that some will make it but with the proviso at what level they achieve and at what level we'll find ourselves . |  |
