They look very dangerous on the attack, and will probably feel they should be ahead. Pitch looks to have suffered with all the recent rain.

Have to agree with this. Much slack has been cut due to the off-field situation but form is now a concern given how condensed the table is below us.
Forget the top seven and just focus on picking up points.

He makes some good points about how supportive the crowd were. It’s also refreshing to hear someone at the football club say they have to accept when they’ve done things wrong.
“We have to self-acknowledge that we need to look at ourselves, and that is me first and foremost. More than them even. Definitely starts from me, everything has to. And the fans, genuinely, pure gratitude, thank you so much for what they did today.”
We wouldn’t be where we are if that was an approach that existed as standard throughout the club over the last few years.

I have just listen to McNulty and I just shake my head in despair, we were downright poor and that is down to Jim. Why do we insist on playing possession and tippy tappy football, it was the same old Ebanks to Nevett, back to Ebanks then to Gordon........., it is like watching a training session and whereas Solihull played with pace, but Jim seems to think the style of football is more important winning games. He mentions the rain, it affected both teams and if the pitch was getting waterlogged, while keep on passing it across the ground, is it because he lacks the ability to change the style of play or the desire to do so. Mcnulty style of play is playing into the hands of the opposition, because they know we play slow pedestrian football and over pass the ball, which allows them to deal with effectively.
The issue of the team selection must raise questions, why start with Keohane and Sinclair on the bench, most managers would start with their best and most experience starting eleven, I would have Keohane at right back instead of Gordon and Sinclair starting instead of Jes. A playoff place may be a bit far off now and is simply down to McNulty management. He is starting to remind of BBM week by week, which is worrying to say the least.

We weren't slow and plodding for 98 minutes though so we have the ability to play at a quicker tempo, consistency seems to be a problem though.

They did deserve the win and it was disappointing he wasn’t asked about his team selection again. Annoyingly when we were direct, and we were at times, it caused them issues. McNulty should have done more to influence that.
However, and it might only be my opinion but it’s a consistent one, there needs to be a greater focus on what’s happening off the pitch before matters like style of play become a major issue.
The praising of fans was definitely worth mentioning as, if anyone there can attest to, they did indeed continue to noticeably back the team and the manager - which on the back of a four game losing run is something of note. The Sandy were even singing McNulty’s name as fans left the ground.

But Keohane at RB doesn’t solve the biggest problem: we can’t continue with East playing deep next to Gilmour.

True James. We can play with pace and with Hayes back together with the long awaited return of Rodney, there are some positives.
Maybe not a question for Jim but the senior players, why do we go back to a negative style of play time and again? Surely they get an adrenaline buzz they get from the crowd cheering on the positive playing style
