ONS figures on net migration into the UK show that the numbers in the year to June 2025 fell to 204,000 compared with the record of 944,000 to March 2023. You'd imagine this would be a huge cause for celebration among the millions of people who have been so concerned about the numbers.
You would imagine that if people are so concerned about immigration they'd be interested enough to check out the facts.
Bearing that in mind, can any of you explain why it is that when asked by pollsters 67% believe that the numbers have increased while the percentage of Reform voters who believe it has risen is 80%.
So again, can any of you explain why those people aren't interested in facts ? It appears that they simply believe what they believe and don't want facts getting in the way of those beliefs ? |  | | |  |

Isn't it a bit desperate to try to erect a distinction where none really exists? Similarly. There's a clear distinction. There always has been political influence and bias on the media and there always will be. But never to the extent of Reform and GB News, not only that but it's freely available to every single person with a TV.
Andrew Neil left because it was too extreme, he's not exactly a Corbynite. Andrew Bolton from a right leaning media source called for their licence to be revoked. They've been admonished by the media watchdog many times for spouting misinformation.
