A lively young Leicester team could be too much for Romeu, who looks ready for retirement. We'll need Shea Charles out there to help him today. It will also help us a lot if Leicester rest Fatawu; if not, you'd expect him to score against us again. I'm sure a save, any save, from our goalkeeper today, whoever he is, would be greatly appreciated by the rest of the team.

Like most fans, I wasn't happy with the team selection when it was announced, but we won again, and that's 6 matches without defeat now. Eckert is an ice-cold, ruthless manager. He makes unpopular decisions, but he does what it takes to win games, like no manager we've ever had before. I was sat not far from him today, and the only time he allowed himself a brief smile was when we scored our 2nd goal.
In extra-time, you could see our players were giving everything at the end to secure another victory for him, against, what looked on paper to be a much stronger, more experienced Leicester team.
The youngsters all impressed, but I especially liked what I saw of Dibaga. Archer was awful though and I'd prefer to see one of the youngsters instead of him in future. [Post edited 14 Feb 22:14]

Think it was sensible to rest Stewart completely especially as we have no midweek game he can get a 10 day break without a game as can a few others. Thought we did OK, important to have got to HT without going behind as I thought Leicester were not bad in the first half. Credit to Edozie for putting in a shift and earning us the Pen. Superb equaliser, stuff what that idiot Sutton was whining about it not being hit properly. We didn’t cave in, we kept plugging away and in the end got a result. Thought some of the nippers did OK too, Bragg we know about already but thought Williams was good and I don’t think anyone subbed on looked out of their depth. As for Archer, never mind not being able to hit a cow’s backside with a banjo, I think you could upgrade that to elephant at the moment! The icing on the cake was the Skates lost to a 90th min goal at home to Sheff Utd, they’d be back in the bottom three if it wasn’t for Leicester’s points deduction, we should launch an appeal to halve it! 😄 | | | |

Agree Dirk. I thought Long had a good game. Sutton has never given us any praise over the years not sure what his problem is with us . Today showed we do have a good squad for the championship when everyone is up for it . The youngsters didn’t let anyone down today . |  |

The Quarshie off the line incident was a bit harder to judge due to tv angle and a lot of players in the way, but it looked like he should have done better. | |
