I wouldn't call Stamenic a defensive midfielder, as Olle stated in his report, Stamenic let midfield runners go untracked causing us a real problem towards the end of the first half.
Stamenic looked a lot happier starting on the left hand side and Just is more comfortable on the righthand side,but as the game progressed neither seemed experienced enough in those positions to be able counteract the changes that Sheffield made to change the way the game was going. To all intents and purpose the midfield became dysfunctional. [Post edited 24 Aug 22:27]
