Yes, another big issue coming to the surface is that the public are not being told the cost to transition to zero. The hypothesis of some is that these issues are mixed in that the ongoing costs passed on to customers are a consequence of the true cost of net zero.
What we do know is that no one is publishing a full set of figures.
This article indicates the cost of upgrading the network for net zero means bills staying high into the next decade. Some of the truth is getting out.
