I became aware of this place d from a " urban Explorer" chanel on YouTube. He went there explained where it was located showed the access route and lack if security about June 26. He was pretty proud of himself. There was another Welsh " explorer " .
A few months later the place was burned down by four local youths looking for relvance in otherwise empty lives.

They are still locked up and face jail terms. Derelict does not mean worthless. What make kids want to burn down old building. A chapel was burned in Port Talbot . Several media outlets made fake claims it was by Muslims. Three lads must be very upset and the fourth who saw the YouTube video. Swansea jail is so nice this time of year.

I had watched and video and then when I heard the place had burnt down my first thought was was it because of the video.
It's a pity another grand building in the upper Vale of Neath gone, it was designed by the same guy that did Buckingham Palace. |  |
