Seems his career has hit another roadblock. At his loan club FC Groningen, he had only made one appearance as a sub (9 minutes) until yesterday, where he played the entire 2nd half as a sub.
I was hopeful when we brought him in that he could be developed and be more than a fast athlete. But given that his loan has an option to buy, it seems we don't want him anymore, and probably won't want him back if he can't make their first team. |  |
