One band who were interested in Loch Ness was Led Zeppelin - Jimmy Page being interested in the occult bought Aleister Crowley's house on the banks of the Loch . I think he sold it and it later burnt down . I bet those walls could tell a tale or two. Incidentally another famous person who supposedly had connections to the occult was Jayne Mansfield who allegedly became a member of the church of Satan when she became close to the founder Anton La Vey. I think a lot of this was pure self promotion and publicity. Jayne was a bit of a hedonist and had the sort of figure that had eyeballs popping out like organ stops. Bob Hope famously introduced her as " Ladies and gentlemen the two and only Jayne Mansfield !" There was also a famous photo of her standing next to Sophia Loren at a dinner and stealing loren's thunder with a dress that was shall we say a little on the low side. Jayne unfortunately met a tragic end when the car in which she was a passenger collided with the rear of a lorry in foggy conditions .She was partially decapitated resulting ever since in mandatory safety bars being put on to the rear and sides of lorries . These are known ever since as Mansfield bars. That's the end of the history lesson for now folks.....
