Didn’t need this week to tell you that, teams get results against teams above them all the time.
Wins are never guaranteed but playing in such a way against the worst team in the division, which almost guarantees you don’t win is unforgivable.
It was an arrogant approach which the players had come away from playing for a period of time, not that it works anyway, but they weren’t sharp which compounded it further.
He needs to end this obsession and get back to what works.
If we approach the game sensibly and give ourselves the best possible chance of winning - and we still don’t win, then so be it.
