When you look into it, agents are causing far too many problems, destabilising players (Paterson?), encouraging player unrest and doing it just to make more money. It's not about making a living to the big agents, they get rich quickly but then carry on with bad behaviour because, as with big name sports stars, celebrities and entrepreneurs like Elon Musk, it becomes about status.
They can't just be happy to be top of their particular tree and comfortably rich, they have to be the richest or at least on a par.
Agents are part of the reason going to football is so expensive, bang average players earning 40-50k per week in the EPL, 15-20k in the Championship. |  | | |
