If we see record temperatures this week as they say and this is definitely an ongoing thing, shouldn't the governments across the world be preparing for the inevitable. Take just the UK. If we have long hot summers there will be droughts but then, in the winters we are seeing more floods. Shouldnt we be buidling water storage facilites to catch the rain water AND desalination plants on the coasts and pipelines so we can pump water inland when its too hot and dry? We need to be able to irrigate farmland and fight grass fires, we need to have run off for flood water.

Reaction instead of being proactive , and yet in other countries it happens
