People have been changing offices so quickly it's hard to know where to start. He's had three different job titles in the last 18 months. Mark Allen came and went as academy manager, Byron Anthony came and went as u18s manager, Darren Davies came in from Australia as u16s manager then took over the u18s. Kristian O'Leary got Carmarthen relegated, finished one off bottom with the u23s, and now has a senior position. Important to have guys like Jon who know how things work and can step in where needed. Hopefully he and Anthony can kick on with the u21s this season, there's a lot of young talent emerging at that level and we should be a competitive outfit. The international setup has gone bonkers recently, too. Gus Williams (head of talent ID) has joined Blackburn and Paul Bodin has left as u21s manager.

Sounds like its best all round then. Mr Goldie has done well previously and we clearly need some leadership. Goldie Looking Forward … 🦢

If the lads he had last season make the step up and have an impact then it's all worth it, good job done. But it was a poor season on the pitch, and fact is our most productive development groups won football matches (and trophies). We don't see enough behind the scenes to judge anything other than the results. He had a tough job to be fair, trying to learn and teach a new system at the same time. I think Darren Davies with the u18s had a bit more flexibility in what he could do tactically and results were a lot stronger even with a young group.

Not convinced by Bodin. He should have got better results with the u21 team. I see no reason why Welsh teams ship 4 or 5 these days even against the Germans and Swiss especially in our own turf.

I wasn't much impressed with the 4-4-2 either. Very interested to find out who they have in mind to take over.
