| Swans u21 4 Brentford B 2 13:43 - Jul 23 with 696 views | KeithHaynes | Swansea City Under-21s continued their pre-season preparations with a 4-2 win over Brentford B. From the OS. Two goals for Kyle Joseph along with goals for Joel Cotterill and Josh Thomas sealed victory against the Bees. The young Swans were bolstered with a number of first team players, most notably Ben Cabango who was playing his first match minutes since suffering injury against Bournemouth in April. Swans made a strong start. A great ball from Azeem Abdulai sent Kyle Joseph through, Joseph took a great touch and showed good composure burying a shot into the bottom left. Ben Lloyd almost made it two minutes later. Jordon Garrick found Joseph. The striker couldn't quite get it under control, but the ball fell to Lloyd and his low effort was saved. Some excellent passing play would soon make it two. The play started with the defence with Abdulai starting things off. Sam Leverett found Ben Lloyd in the box. He pulled the ball across to Cotterill who powered a shot into the bottom left to double the Swans lead. But Brentford B soon found an equaliser. A mistake allowed the trialist forward to score with the Bees first real chance of the game. Joseph had his second of the afternoon just after the break, Leverett doing well to win the ball high up the pitch before releasing Joseph who made no mistake one on one. Garrick was alleged to have pushed a Brentford forward in the box, giving the Bees a penalty. Alex Gilbert stepped up and sent Archie Matthews the wrong way to make it 3-2. With nine minutes to go, substitute Thomas made it 4-2. A great ball through from Lloyd sent the forward through and he slotted beyond the on-rushing goalkeeper. Swansea City: Archie Matthews, Brandon Cooper, Harry Jones, Ben Cabango, Sam Leverett, Jordan Garrick, Azeem Abdulai, Dan Williams, Ben Lloyd, Joel Cotterill, Kyle Joseph. Substitutes: Remy Mitchell, Filip Lissah, Kai Ludvigsen, Corey Hurford, Joe Thomas, Josh Thomas, Tarrelle Whittaker, Ben Blythe. | |

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Possibly giving him some minutes in a full game rather than on the bench at Charlton ?

No I agree. Just saying that during the season he’d be an asset who may change a game (if Martin has the brains to see this).
