Hawkwind , Lemmy done the vocals on Silver Machine . one of my first 45 rpm discs .
Mate of mine believes , way back in the day , Hawkwind played at The Welfare Hall Loughor
He also recalls Saxon appearing there for a show too .
Sure they played The Brangwyn Hall years ago and Nik Turner pre gig came out to the queue and thanked the audience for turning up to their show , nice one by him . |  | | |

Loved a bit of Hawkwind when I was in school. I bought ' House of the Mountain Grill' as one my first ever albums.
Considering the bands lifestyle Nic did well to get to 82. Dave Brock is still going though. | | | |
