That date was originally set aside for the swans to take on Glasgow Rangers, as it stands it’s still unknown if that game will go ahead before the side return to west Wales next week.  0

There was a time when I was a regular attendee at Tannadice (albeit as an exiled Jack), The Jim McLean era seems a world away now, but I have pleasant memories of loads of big European nights, including seeing Barca turned over when Lineker missed a sitter. Sadly United are not the same force today, and I will be surprised if the Swans don't emerge victorious. This is one of those rare games where one has divided loyalties, but I will be keep my tangerine scarf in the drawer. It shouldn't be a bad game as United still try to play football. albeit with players who aren't quite up to the standards of old. | | | |

I recall watching those European nights back in the 80’s on the tv.
One of my best footballing memories of those times were Aberdeen, Dundee United and Ipswich all playing in Europe. |  |
