HS2 is a total waste of time and money. It was before Covid, and doubly so now. Much like electrification of the South Wales main line. That should have stopped at Bristol. Hundreds of millions spent to shave 5-10 minutes off a trip to Cardiff.
The Cardiff Metro is less of a waste of time, but it is yet more investment to the glorification of the "Capitol" whilst the rest of Wales goes without. | |

People are slow to change, Wales has been a massively strong Labour stronghold for most if not all of my 62yrs and people just follow the same old mantra that is to vote Labour, massive change in the Welsh Government along with the UK Government in Westminster is needed, but there are not many options in Wales to chose from and that is another factor, the Tories won't get in here and if they did they won't be any better either when you look at the mess in Westminster.
A forward thinking Labour leader without the one eyed blinkered one that we got now and the ones previously is probably the only outcome here, due to what said above.
There's a massive part of the Welsh population that don't vote, because of the lack of choice, that much is noticeable when you see the turnout percentage at election time, apathy rules, due to the plebs that are and have been in power.
