rumor mill is off Josh Thomas 02:20 - Jul 29 with 1341 viewsRhonddaSwans

Seen some Newport fans discussing him (on twitter) thinking they have landed him on loan. So this isn't a reliable source by any means.
Would League two be a good start for some game time in senior football?
yes I think it would be. Next year we might have a very promising player that can step up. Newport did ok with Oli Cooper, we all know how well that newport stint went for him.

Can't find any incoming rumors other than the two loans 😕 I hate the transfer window!

Recent history would suggest if he does well we will recall him so we can flog him ASAP

Morgan was never gonna fit in here. Listened to Nathen Dyers interview on bbc radio wales yesterday.
He was saying he was playing for Southampton had a good game scored then was told to go out on loan. He stated if you said no you was done at the club unlike these days.
Morgan was never happy here after being the main man in devon. Josh is one of our own if he does well I can see him being a star player here. I hope that isn't the new trend.

Assuming we're still in the Championship after next season the step up for JT to go from L2 to championship would still be sizeable. If there are suitors, I'd prefer him to have a go at a League 1 club, unless there is a longer term development plan in place for him i.e. L2 this season, L1 next season, championship (either with us or alternative club).

But most importantly, if Duff doesn't think he's going to feature in 30+ games this year then let him go somewhere where he will and will develop at a faster rate
