Maybe his injury was a blessing for the manager enabling him to have to stick with two players who gained a certain amount of championship experience last season enabling Matos to concentrate on issues in the middle of the park which are still not really resolved because next season Eom,Stamenic, Widell, Franco and Galbraith will be looking to be in the starting eleven add Cullen who role on the left side has improved defensively. Stamenic played well on Saturday, Franco plays to a good standard but do we really want Widell and Eom playing out on the wing as both look as if they will become more influential next season. Possible players leaving, possible new signings and hopefully the return of Inoussa to confirm his worth to the club.

You are discounting any of the midfielders being sold? I think we will have offers for Stamenic, Galbraith, Eom and Franco. If they will be accepted who knows, but I expect at least two of those to be gone.

My last paragraph covered that, lots of money involved with the players who could go.I expect players to go but given the teams make up what had the likes of Galbraith and Vipotnik actually proven yes they are good Championship players but can they make the step up to a higher level when they are yet to prove themselves at Championship level and yes I do include Vipotnik in that statement as unproven , a heavy touch a number of missed chances, tonight's game Idah seemed to hold the ball up and connect play up better than Vipotnik would leaving us given the teams development be the best option for some of our players, Would Downes or Alfie Mawson or even Joe Rodon be better equipped to face the challenges of a higher quality of football if they had stayed a little longer with the Swans don't think it did Dan James any harm having a few extra months to gain more confidence and attract a better class of team to up his value to Swansea as the selling club.
