I'm a regular visitor to the Gironde, friends moved out there about 20 years ago. We stay on the coast around Arcachon Bay and the Cote Sauvage. The pine forests are extensive there and are bone dry during July and August with lots of brush.
If 422 people are setting fires there, that's absolutely crazy. |  |
