Wow I still can't believe we signed him for £40,000.

With the way money has increased in the PL I wonder if we will ever be able to make these types of signings again(taylor,rangel,williams etc)... I know we signed the new keeper for £600,000 (according to evening post) but I wouldn't be suprised if in a few seasons time we will still be making bargain signings but £3million would be the sum classed as the bargain. It shows how much we have grown as a football club and how much more money goes into the top division every year.
