Reading that, it doesn't matter which way they dress it up what they want is all about hoarding more money for the top teams. Not just the top 6 in the EPL but the top teams across Europe.
How much do they want? Their players are millionaires, even the ones that rarely play. There are 18 year olds who've never been in their first teams that are on a million quid per season.
Why do they need more? Will they only be happy when the small clubs have all been driven bankrupt and fans only have a handful of teams to support? Will they be happy when they have taken the ability to watch your local team away and are forced to watch only on tv for a ridiculous fee?
Are the clubs deserving of the top table really so deserving? Tottenham haven't won the league title in nearly 60 years so is it the best teams or the biggest stadia that qualify?

Greed is not good.

The big clubs will get their way eventually. A European league, outside UEFA's jurisdiction if needs be. In fact probably outside it as I can't see clubs being happy to continue letting the various national associations have access to their expensively acquired and paid players for free as they do now. Players will have to choose between club or country.

Question then is what happens to the domestic leagues. Do they allow the big teams to continue to compete with what will basically be reserve teams, or do they boot them out altogether?

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I'd boot them out. Let them have their closed of competition with no relegation. When it beomes a case of only 2 or 3 teams winning the thing and the same 2/3 finishing bottom people will soon get bored. that team that seems to always be bottom, they'll get bored too.

Sport is about competition, take away the competition, take away the fun.
