There's a small "lake " near the stadium called the Pluck , a pair of swans have been breeding there for years with I'm glad to say with no issues , they often sit on the cycle track which runs alongside , if they are there my advice is , get off and give them a wide berth . Lovely creatures though . For a impressive view of them visit Pembroke castle , there used to be a masses of them on the ponds near the town | |

The cygnets stay with their parents until the spring of the following year after hatching. They're are forced to leave if they do not do so of their own accord . They'll then join a flock until they're about 3 years old this is when they normally find a mate and so the circle of life continues, isn't great | |
