I'd do away with the monarchy but....if the current succession rules were in place in 1901 (first born takes the throne NOT first male) then when Queen Victoria died Princess Vicky would have succeeded her but Princess Vicky died soon after her mum so next in line would have been....Kaiser Wilhelm II.
We should have binned our monarchy decades back. At least slim it down. A monarch does nor need three palaces to live in.
Our monarch perpetuates class division, deference and this honours system regarding Empirecis just dumb.
Nobody should have Sir as a title because he has made billions or kicked a football or simply wiped the backside of a queen.
I agree we should slim the Royal family down , there's far too many of them who's fallen lucky due to who they married ( ex rugger player's children being a prime example . I would keep the immediate members such as Charles and William for example but the rest get a job The current line of succession is as follows ;
