For those that care.

Wrexham AFC chairmen’s anniversary message
To the supporters, staff, players, friends, and family of Wrexham AFC.

It is difficult to believe that it is a year ago today, we became the owners of the Club and pledged to be good custodians.

The year has gone in the blink of an eye, we have learned so much and more importantly feel like we are fully integrated into everything Wrexham.

There can be no doubt that the highlight of the year was our visit in October. The reception, experience and general feel of warmth moved both of us beyond anything we could have possibly imagined and made us even more determined to be successful.

We, ably supported by those who work for the Club, have already achieved so much but we know there is much more that needs doing if we are to meet our goal of growing the team, securing a return to the EFL in front of increased attendances at an improved stadium while making a positive different to the wider community in Wrexham.

It would be easy to only refer to those actions that were well received but we also recognize that not everything has gone off, without an issue or two. We are not going to dwell on either, other than to repeat our commitment to do everything, in our capability and control, to meet our stated goal.

We have provided the Manager with the playing resources to give ourselves the best chance of gaining promotion. We can now only sit back like everyone else and support the team in each game, where the only 90 minutes each week that actually makes the difference, takes place.

Off the field, we recognise that redeveloping the Kop is the only way to significantly move the dial in terms of increasing the capacity of the Racecourse Ground. We can’t do that on our own and a significant announcement in this regard will be made at Noon today.

It feels like the community are close to the Club and not only those who come through the turnstiles but those who are supportive from a distance. We wanted our time at the Club to be defined by the benefit we could create for the community and are proud of the progress to date, although we are only just getting started.

We still have some of the actions we committed to in the Mission Statement to fully deliver against and will be in a better place to review our own performance at the end of the season, which we will do in the transparent way we promised.

In closing, you have all been great for us and we aim to be great for you too.

Rob & Ryan

Parkinson is on borrowed time, can't see them going up this season

Phil Parkinson is Mick McCarthy in disguise. Ben Tozer (£300k) can throw the ball like a missile and he has just spent £300,000 on Ollie Palmer a 32 year old 6 ft 3 in centre forward from Wimbledon.

Big Joe Lewis (also 6ft 3in) ex Swansea kept him at bay in the recent defeat at Torquay Utd Torquay manged to hold out against Wrexham's direct style. Brian Flynn was unavailable for comment.

Palmer's just turned 30.

They could easily still go up, plenty of points to play for especially once their new signings like Palmer and O'Connor from Burton (apparently 500k!!) bed in.

Be great to see Wrexham rise again.

They seem like they are top blokes.
Hopefully they put the club on a responsible footing to avoid another crash later.

Good for welsh football.
Looking forward to the Swans beating them home and away in about 5 years time.

Personal view point for the Cwm Afan Nedd.

Why are they 'top blokes' and Swansea's owners just "Yanks".? The Wrecsam Trust simply handed over the keys to the club for free from what I can see. A massive leap of faith. I think the ground is part owned by the University.

The Wecsam Yank and Canadian made sure Wrecsam Trust did not have even 1% of their club. Wise people. Before you know it they would be demanding 'Protection'.

The local Swansea club owners did a brilliant job for the Swansea Trust giving them a 2016 £20m legacy. Sadly they could not cut a deal for themselves. The local minority shareholder left the Americans and the Trust, McBurney, James, Connor Roberts and Rodon. £50m of talent under long contracts. Three Premier league footballers and another who should be. They then got caught up in "small town politics" and fake narratives. Judas, pieces of silver, quick flip hedge funders, asset strippers etc failed roofer, you know the sort of thing.

When Covid struck the local minority owners joined up with Levien and the new guy Silverstein and bailed out the club with £13m. No love from the fans or Trust. Just sneering contempt. They even did the decent thing and subsided loyal season ticket holders. The Trust approved but offer no thanks.

The Trust would also share the load but "are waiting for further details". They do not seem too keen to put their hands in their pockets. We all have mates like that. After a while you do not bother asking for a "share of the petrol" .

The Wrecsam people are still star struck with their £2m investment. I do not have Netflix so am not that impressed. The have brought in Mick McCarthy clone and three expensive lower league bruisers. I am impressed with Mindi. She input at least 50% of R and R value invested in buying Swansea shares. (based on average investment estimates of the 28.)

One group has an effective public relations team assisting them, the other does not.

There's little else that separates them.

Good luck to them. I can see them playing in the championship within 6 or 7 years, in front of 16/17000 crowds.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Again.... This is extremely obvious and you know this to be the case, this is another of your pretending to be twp moments.

They are top blokes because they are extremely well known figures who publicise Wrexham and their affiliation literally everyday while putting their own money into buying players and doing everything they can to ingratiate themselves to their fans by being extremely open and honest with them. They are so visible a presence the PR if they let Wrexham fail would be awful for them.

Contrast with our owners who for the large part are faceless, silent money types. Who rarely if ever bother mentioning our name and have loaned the club money with interest. Mindy who you speak of who is the only one of the faceless 28 lurking in the shadows with a profile nearing WFCs owners, butchooses not leverage her standing in helping the club, preferring to remain anonymous, silent as well as keeping her money in her pocket.

That really didn't need pointing out.

Frankly incomparable.

Levien has done a podcast even admitting his mistakes and an interview with WoL. Silverstein spoken to the fans directly as spent some time in Wales in a pandemic. He looked the camera directly stating he was investing not loaning and in if for the long term. No joking no larking about. Straight and serious.

Trust people are not exactly high profile and certainly camera shy. I do not like to criticise individuals. I blame the members as a whole.

The US people might read forums and will have not felt the love. I try to redress this. They are all welcome in Resolven.

As well brought up people they will be surprised that Welsh folk have not thanked them for subsidising the loyal fans with subsidised season tickets that include me and maybe you. It is the clubs money, but only possible via the convertible loan note. You will scoff at his. This is what people do these days. The Trust could also have done this but are no doubt "waiting for further details".

A great opportunity for the fans to thank the owners was passed by in the open dialogue. I doubt anyone at the club were surprised such is the toxic atmosphere generated almost entirely on the back of the fake narrative that the Trust were poorly treated.

The Trust are too slow and will always be too late and too divided. The only thing that unified them was relegation. Now they are all sellers (if they can get 2016 price).

How long ago was that zoom call now? On that same call he stated an intention to re-engage with the trust. We know that is untrue, because it hasn't happened. So why should I believe the rest of what he said!?

The rest of your post is irrelevant nonsense. You made the comparison between our majority owners and Wrexham's, this has nothing to do with the trust or the case.

You think a zoom call when we were riding high in which we know he lied at least once is a good thing compared to the constant and daily publicity Wrexham's owners give them who've got half of Hollywood wearing their shirts.

Laughable.
