Just had a chat with someone i know from the club. ( Bristol City ) They said they are not ‘really’ interested in Bidwell. In fact no defenders are ‘really’ needed. I asked about their inquiry for Craig Halkett which they stated is correct. “But you said you don’t need a defender “ The reply ?

Garrick has pace but is a RWB not a LWB. He is currently playing as a forward though and getting a few goals.

He might develop into one of those low scoring strikers who will chip in 7 or 8 a season. I read one site which suggested Swansea are working on a new contract for Bidwell. He is the definition of a good squad reliable player.
