| Progression? 08:19 - Feb 9 with 566 views | Dr_Parnassus | First 15 games. 20 points in first 15 games - 1.33 points per game 18 goals in first 15 games - 1.2 goals scored per game 17 conceded in first 15 games - 1.13 goals conceded per game Following 14 games. 15 points in 14 games - 1.07 points per game 11 goals in 14 games - 0.78 goals scored per game 21 conceded in 14 games - 1.5 goals conceded per game There is now nothing we can do in the next game to have a better second half of the season so far than the first. Not even a 7-0 win will do it. There is no progression here, its decline in every key department of the game. | |

How many players he thinks the yanks are going to buy in the summer I don't know to make us more physical. I'd be happy if we just brought a couple of wingers in so we stop ending most games with 0 goals scored.

Its not an uneven split, its an average. Reversing it would be mathematically flawed, you cant have a split where the second half is more than the first, because by its very nature, the extra one would belong to the first half. The second half must always be equal to or less than the first half, anything other than that would represent an uneven split.

So you know if we reversed it we picked up more points in the last 15 games? Edit. Ok drop out the last game for a 14/14 split. [Post edited 9 Feb 2022 8:40]

You can't reverse it, I just explained that to you. It would become mathematically flawed. You cannot have a split where the first half has less than the second half, by its very nature the extra 1 would belong to the first half. I can't explain that any clearer. You may as well give the first half 9 and the second half 20. It becomes flawed as a back ended split is no longer a split. You understand that surely?

Replying to your edit. Then you are using incomplete data and massaging reality to get a figure you want. We are talking all league games played this season, you can't ignore one out of convenience. The next game, Bristol City, belongs to the second half stats. Happy to update it after then, if you like.
